While Russia has destroyed millions of lives of the Jewish people, Crimean Tatars, Poles, Czech, Hungarians, Afghani, Chechens, Georgians, and Syrians, and is currently slaughtering Ukraine, - the West has to understand: Any Free Nation of the World That Does Not Bow to Putin Awaits the Same Fate You Cannot Negotiate with a Terrorist This War Is Not a Ukrainian War. Politics is money. And big politics is very big money. Those who decide the tide of events and give orders are akin to entrepreneurs taking all the risk in hope of a huge return. The rest of us are mere employees, who fight and die for the ambitions of people giving orders (and hopefully for some money as well). I would forego the exploration of all of those places for the privilege of enjoying the one I’ve been in.
Just as China seemed to have lost trade war to America, it managed to spark a new one. WWI and WWII were wars over resources. The ongoing WWIII is a war over our basic human freedoms. This time it’s each and every one of us who hold the keys to the coming century.
If we do not adapt to climate apocalypse fast enough, some other species will. And whoever does it best, has the highest chance of dominating a greenhouse world of thinned air, oxygen-deprived high waters and intolerable filth of what tens of billions of people would leave behind tiny pieces of still inhabitable land.
The reason we are mesmerized by the Joker character, however, has nothing to do with his Fleck syndrome, childhood drama or violence outbursts. We cheer for him and we feel for him because we all can see ourselves in this ostracized social freak.
