And here I’d like to give my own definition of love: I remember my first time in New York. At that moment I was absolutely shocked to realize there is no other place on Earth I’d rather be. There must have been better, cleaner or more exciting places on Earth or some other Planet, but this did not matter to me in slightest. I would forego the exploration of all of those places for the privilege of enjoying the one I’ve been in.

Are we building the world where various views can co-exist regardless of their extremity and disregard for basic human values? When some people are closing their eyes on what other people are doing even when some believes and actions lead to unimaginable horrifying consequences? Or are we building the world where we all collectively agree that some things and believes cannot be tolerated for the benefit of all members of this society?

We live in "modern advanced societies" where your place of birth and the color of your skin still defines your fate. Technology will give us an alternative.

Everyone got open doors to whichever option fits their mood, temperament and personality. We have achieved a perfect balance and a utopia in which all voices are equally heard. But who is a real beneficiary of this freedom?

“Animals are to be used for food and fur, cars are to move, job is to afford living and Starbucks coffee is to drink” – who even said so?

We want to enjoy our success and be able to show it to the others, just like the rich of the world are not afraid of showing off their achievements to the world.  But how do you aspire for success and happiness when pretty much all you can do is already being done by the robot, who is owned by X&Co?

If we at this stage are talking about mind uploading, why do we ignore the possibility of advanced civilizations having done so billions years ago?

Technological singularity will empower those very people to achieve their goals with the speed of light and sharpness of a razor. This very fact will make human decision-making critical, not the other way around.

How are we planning to compete with General Artificial Intelligence? The million-dollar question is: should we?
