Dictatorships constitute the biggest impediment to our mutual progress, the progress of humanity and the next evolutionary leap for humanity Be it becoming interplanetary species or solving human mortality, curing cancer and Alzheimer, solving climate change problem, -we, as humanity, cannot move to the next stage of our development while dictatorships are hampering this progress

Are we building the world where various views can co-exist regardless of their extremity and disregard for basic human values? When some people are closing their eyes on what other people are doing even when some believes and actions lead to unimaginable horrifying consequences? Or are we building the world where we all collectively agree that some things and believes cannot be tolerated for the benefit of all members of this society?

If we do not adapt to climate apocalypse fast enough, some other species will. And whoever does it best, has the highest chance of dominating a greenhouse world of thinned air, oxygen-deprived high waters and intolerable filth of what tens of billions of people would leave behind tiny pieces of still inhabitable land.

Wait, what about the destroyed forests and extinct animals? What about the coal-black sky above Beijing? What about the spelt oil and millions of sea inhabitants that have been suffocated by human greed? Do we even care about it listening to the latest reproduction of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and making vacation plans on a latest Stan-grad designed app?

Whether Russians blow up the nuclear plant is slowly moving form the domain of "if" into the domain of "when". What will follow? How will international community and people react? And what will the world look like afterwards?

Every decade or so we look back at what we’ve managed to achieve, how many sci-fi movies and futuristic predictions we were...

Previous Information Revolutions gave mortals the knowledge and leverage to become influential and valuable. 3rd Information Revolution will make us Gods.

And here I’d like to give my own definition of love: I remember my first time in New York. At that moment I was absolutely shocked to realize there is no other place on Earth I’d rather be. There must have been better, cleaner or more exciting places on Earth or some other Planet, but this did not matter to me in slightest. I would forego the exploration of all of those places for the privilege of enjoying the one I’ve been in.

The reason we are mesmerized by the Joker character, however, has nothing to do with his Fleck syndrome, childhood drama or violence outbursts. We cheer for him and we feel for him because we all can see ourselves in this ostracized social freak.
